Bakeriet i Lom is a bakery with a long tradition. We are passionate about good craftsmanship and the use of natural, pure ingredients. We are proud to offer everything from traditional hand-made sourdough bread to tasty buns and delicate pastries.
We are currently looking for an experienced baker to take on the role of Head of Department at our company. In addition to being part of the daily production, you will be responsible for product quality and product development, monitoring of apprentices and training of baking employees. The position reports to the Baking Manager.
We are looking for a baker with a certificate and several years of experience. You are passionate about baking and good craftsmanship. You are quality-conscious, have an eye for detail and want to contribute to the further development of the bakery. You enjoy training others and seeing others grow, are pedagogical and have good communication and collaboration skills. You understand the value of performing as a team.
Bakeriet i Lom
Bakeriet i Lom is a true artisan bakery, built on knowledge and pure, natural ingredients. The bakery is located in beautiful natural surroundings in the heart of Jotunheimen and was founded in 2004 by Morten Schakenda.
We are known throughout Norway for our pastries and are a popular stop for both locals and travelers. The bakery is clearly a seasonal workplace, and in the high season we bake at two bakeries and have about 25 people in the baking team.
